When I was on the candida diet, I ate so much garlic 🤭 in the hope that it would help rid my body from intestinal thrush, and praise God it did aid to my recovery! Garlic is a very powerful anti-biotic which helps in detoxifying and cleansing the body from harmful bacteria, fungi, and yeasts, and has so many other great health benefits.
So green beans with garlic became one of my favourite and very simple side dishes.
This is how you make it:
⁃ Steam and drain your fresh green beans.
⁃ Then in a frying pan, add a tablespoon of olive oil and a crushed garlic.
⁃ Add the beans to the frying pan and toss gently for a few minutes so that they take on the flavour of the garlic.
⁃ Sprinkle with a little sea salt and serve with whatever you wish.
