The power of words

“Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.” – Proverbs 16:24

Now this verse really spoke to me, so I decided to take a deeper look into what God was saying.

And yes, pleasant words can truly make you feel loved, cherished, encouraged and on top of the world!

But malicious words can make you feel the complete opposite and literally DESTROY your bones! Harmful words can supress the immune system and allow chronic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoathritis to take hold and weaken the body.

So if you are holding on to anger and resentment, try to let it go, you are only hurting yourself. Take a deep breath, pray, forgive and hand it over to the LORD JESUS CHRIST, because He cares for you.

Then, while doing some research on honey, I was amazed to find that pure raw honey or wild honey can actually help to heal the bones. The many vitamins, minerals and enzymes it contains makes it a highly nutritious food.

So replacing processed sugar with one tea spoon of organic honey a day can boost the immune system and lower inflamation, therefore keeping your bones strong and healthy.

So as you can see, every word of God is true and Proverbs 23:26 says:

“My son, eat thou honey, because it is good: and thy honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste:”
