What the Bible has to say about blood and fat

If you are interested in living a long and pain free life without inflamation taking hold of your body. Then take heed and listen to what God has to say in book of Leviticus chapter 3 verse 17: “It shall be a perpetual statute for your generation throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.”

Now I could go on and on for hours concerning this verse, but here’s just a snippet to get you thinking about how God’s word is as relevant today as it was back then.

God warns us to abstain from eating animal fat, as we now know that it can cause major health complications, including; cancer of the breast and pancreas, as well as cholesterol being the leading cause for heart attacks and strokes.

So next time you’re out, and feeling a little peckish, think twice before you order that greasy burger and chips. Do your body a favour and opt for a big salad instead; there are so many different types to choose from, and you’ll feel so much better for it.

God also warns us not to eat anything containing blood.

In the book of Leviticus chapter 17 verse 4, He says: “For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the life thereof. Whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.”

So if you are a meateater, please ensure that it is organic and cooked all the way through, as it does have the potential to harm you and can make you very sick indeed.

With that being said, I’d like to leave you with this scripture in the book of 1 Thessalonians 5:18, which reads, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
